Eligibility Rules

Contest open to all legal, permanent residents of North and South Carolina who, as of time of entry, are 18 years or older, except employees of WMYT-TV, WJZY-TV, Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc., their agencies, subsidiaries, representatives, sponsors, affiliates, distributors, suppliers, and advertising, promotional agencies and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. One winner per household. One winner per address. One winner per family. Members of the same family or household of winners who have won a prize within 120 days of this contest on WMYT-TV or WJZY-TV are ineligible to participate in this contest. No groups, clubs, or organizations may participate in this contest, or reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules to its members.

General Rules:

No purchase required to enter. Contestants must log on to
www.wjzy.com from March 27, 2008 – April 2, 2008 to fill out an on-line form, to qualify to win a pair of tickets to the Food Lion AutoFair event at Lowes Motor Speedway April 3rd-April 6th. Any daily prizes given away in the amount of $600 or more must produce and present a valid state picture ID and a Blue United States Security Card to receive the selected prize. The prizewinner will receive an IRS 1099 form in the amount of the prize from WJZY-TV at the end of the year. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value. Winners will be notified on or about, Wednesday April 2, 2008. WJZY-TV will schedule a date and time for winner to pick up the prize.

The odds of winner depend upon the number of qualified entries who meet the requirement as stated in the rules above. Prizewinner automatically grants permission to WJZY-TV and Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc to use prizewinner’s names, likeness and voice recordings in any electronic media (radio, television, internet) for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

LIABILITY: WMYT-TV, WJZY-TV, and Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc, are not responsible for problems associated with television transmission, radio transmission, cable transmission, satellite transmission, phone lines, Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, or other Internet interruptions or malfunctions or for any technical difficulties which may prohibit, prevent, or interfere with the transmission of television or radio signals to all or limited geographic areas during the playing of the Contest or which may interfere with a participant's ability to login or register online, (if applicable) electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God, war, terrorism, government regulation, disaster, fire, strikes, civil disorder, or other similar causes beyond the control of the Contest Entities, their affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate assigns, making it inadvisable, illegal, impossible or impractical to continue the Contest or to perform under these Rules. WMYT-TV, WJZY-TV, and Capitol Broadcasting Company are not responsible for cancellations, postponements, or delays.

WMYT-TV, WJZY-TV, and Capitol Broadcasting Company and each of its affiliates are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury or property loss or other damages of winners arising from, or in connection with the prizes awarded or participation in this contest. All decisions are made by the management of WJZY-TV and are final, binding and conclusive on all matters. WJZY-TV reserves the right to change the rules at any time to ensure the fair administration of the contest and compliance with applicable laws. Contest may be terminated by written consent of the Sponsor in which all prizes associated with the promotion must be awarded to qualified participants.
