Career: Molly is the 10 pm anchor for WBTV News on WJZY. She joined WBTV in November, 2003 and anchored weekends for two years before taking over the 10:o'clock. Before WBTV, Molly reported at WLEX-TV in Lexington, Kentucky, WTVD in Raleigh-Durham and worked as a cadet reporter at ABC-TV (Australian Broadcast Corporation) in Sydney, Australia.

Beat: Molly also reports for WBTV's winning 11 o'clock news, often times on Charlotte-Mecklenburg's gang life. She has been covering the controversial and growing issue of local gangs -- and police's battle in fighting them -- since 2004. Molly also hosts a series of specials called "The Sobering Truth", which address hot-button community issues affecting teenagers. You can click here to see the most recent special.

Favorite Stories: She has had two life-changing assignments. The first was in March, 2003 when America first bombed Baghdad. Molly was embedded in a National Guard unit at Fort Campbell, sleeping in barracks and training to go to Iraq. She lived there five weeks -- watching the Conflict in Iraq take shape through soldiers' eyes. Her unit was eventually demobilized.

The second story was at the end of the same year. Quite randomly, Molly got involved in a story about a girl named Hope Stout and her incredible wish for Charlotte. As Molly reported daily, helping rally people to raise over a million dollars to grant Hope's wish, she also began volunteering for the Central and Western North Carolina Make-A-Wish chapter. Molly is still helping keep Hope's spirit alive through her stories, and, as the co-host of the 2007 and 2008 Make-A-Wish "Celebration of Hope" gala.

Honors: 2006 Emmy for her feature series, "Touchy Situations". 2006 Emmy nomination for an investigation into a South Carolina pastor living a double life. In 2005, one of her hour-long specials, "The Sobering Truth: Underage Drinking in Charlotte" was nominated for the national Nancy Dickerson Whitehead Awards for Excellence in Reporting.

Family: Molly and her husband live in Charlotte, with their puppy, Fisher. They adopted him from CMPD's Animal Control.

Hobbies: Loves black-and-white photography, reading, writing, surfing and playing soccer with Fisher. She also claims she's learning to cook. She appreciates hearing from viewers, and welcomes anyone to email story ideas directly her way.
